Today starts the Texas State Fair so in honor of the fair we are making corny dogs for supper again tonight. For the last few months the fair is all we have been talking about the food, the food, and did I mention the food? This year I sure hope we get a chance to go cause I am hungry! Now go enjoy a corn dog and dream of the Ferris Wheel. :)
Happy Friday!
I had been putting off this recipe for weeks now. I wish I hadn't. This chicken was great! We made it over the weekend for an early dinner. It takes some time but it was well worth the effort.
Hi guys! Do you like the combo of sweet and salty? Peanut butter and chocolate? I do! When I saw this recipe it made me remember the great taste of Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor Chubby Hubby. Sadly its been ages since I have had it. So I had to make this!
It's super quick to make and the flavor is great, the sea salt is wonderful on top.
With football season in full swing we are camped out on the couch watching endless games... From college to pro and don't forget the Nascar chase and the Texas Rangers are still going on too.
Our Sundays are always packed with great food! This dip is one of my favorites next to anything buffalo flavor that is. I love baking it in sourdough bread and eating them on sea salt & olive oil Flatbread Crisps crackers. The flavors are wonderful together. It's a great dip to cheer on the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys!
Got zucchini you need to use up? This soup is great, full of veggies and flavor. It's been a family staple when the air turns chilly.
So we are already in the lunch bag rut around here. Our daughter gets so tired of sandwiches. But when I made this last week she perked right up and said I could give her a sandwich of this all week. Lol, just don't tell her it has veggies in it.
It's full of flavor with cilantro and artichoke hearts. Try it with tuna too for a change in pace, or even mound on top of cooked portobello mushroom as a lunch for you. That's my favorite way to eat it.
Football season is in full swing in our household! And these little babies will be making multiple appearances at our buffet table. They have for quite a while now. I just love these! Adding the celery seed in the batter is great when using buffalo sauce on them. If I use a different sauce I usually omit it.
