A while back I was watching on of my favorite shows, Triple D (Diners Drive-ins and Dives). When they showed this wonderful looking stuffed grape tomatos. My little monkey and me just love grape tomatos so I made up a batch. Yum.. Then I made another batch two days later. YUM. Then a week later. Well you get my point. We are addicted to them!
They are a bit time consuming, they took me a little over an hour to core, stuff, roll, and fry them, but it was time well worth it for me! :) I have tried swapping asiago for mozzarella and it works but the taste almost gets lost in it. So I would use asiago if you like it. We also tried swapping ground pork for breakfast sausage and we loved it that way.
A cool refreshing drink to sip on with all the this heat is important to stay cool. Since I have never had a real Orange Julius, I thought this was the perfect time to try making one at home. Yum!
Hi guys!! Today I have a family favorite that we have been eating for quite a few years. Its simple, simple to make. The hardest part is chopping! It's a great side to have at bbq's or family get togethers. Actually I have to admit that I sneak a bit for breakfast when this is in the house, but usually its not here long. :)

Today I felt like baking, I am not really a big sweets baker. I don't have the patience to frost and decorate. But today was different. I have been eyeing this recipe for a few months now. Just for the sheer fact that it has my favorite soda in them. So we gave them a whirl. They have a lite Mtn Dew flavor, and a nice citrus flavor.
I am very very picky when it comes to my ranch. I love it on almost everything, but don't like too many store brands. What's a girl to do?? Make my own of course! Homemade taste so much better.
I like my ranch lite on the mayo, and heavy on the buttermilk. And in order to keep the thickness I swapped some of the mayo for sour cream, plus it makes it a bit lighter on the calories too. But if you like mayo better than add a bit more and reduce the sour cream. You can also add some chives if your in the mood. :)
Nothing could be finer than going on a picnic on these warm sunny days we have been having here. It's time to make another batch of these yummy deviled eggs to go in the basket. These babies are not just for Thanksgiving. They would also make a great side dish for the neighborhood bbq or get together.
Are you grilling as much as we are? One thing I love about the warmer months is the chance to use the grill, and have my hubby take over dinner! Well today I have fun twist on the plain ol burger. This one is made with pork, bbq sauce, and pineapples. A true summer delight!

Egg Rolls, you know we love them around here. This one is no different, actually this one was per the hubby's request a few years back since he is crazy about Bbq chicken. So we add cheese and a few other things to make this one complete.
Just wait! I have quite a few recipes for egg rolls! They are a Sunday staple around here with all the sports watching we do. :)

For dinner last week we tried a new recipe that I have been eyeing for a while. We loved them, they are a permanent staple in our rotation now. To top it all off the sauce was great too! We served this with some dirty rice to round out the meal.
This weekend we made another great ice cream that we just had to share. Now who doesn't love cookie dough? The yummy little chunks you can find in your vanilla ice cream, well this one takes it a step further and makes the plain vanilla taste like cookie dough! So now you have cookie dough flavor ice cream with cookie dough chunks! Oh, I am in heaven....
