A few years back, on one of our many trips to New Orleans, we ate at a little restaurant in Metairie. On a whim I decided to try a new dish that use pecans to bread catfish. With my first bite I had died and gone to heaven, It was so great! Almost as soon as we got back home I had to recreate it. I found this recipe and it's very similar to the wonderful catfish I had back then.
This is one of the dishes I serve when we want to celebrate at home. It's not an everyday dish (or dietfood) but it is definitely a favorite for me and the whole family. Enjoy!
